ABOUT TOMMY

Born in New England and raised in Texas, Tommy has always been a man to wear many hats. In High School, while serving as a standout athlete in Football and Powerlifting, it was Wrestling that proved to be most fruitful, serving as Team Captain, winning District & Regional titles, and advancing to the State Tournament, all at a significant weight disadvantage in his class. After High School, he won Conference Titles at Heavyweight for both Texas Tech University and the University of Texas at Arlington. Upon returning to DFW, Tommy continued with his love for athletics, coaching wrestling, first at Highland Park High School, and then Bishop Lynch High School, leading both squads to UIL & TAPPS State Titles every season from 2006-2013.

While receiving his education, Tommy began a 20+ year journey in the Restaurant & Bar Industry, first as a security guard at some of the busiest bars & music venues in Lubbock, TX, and then moving into bartending & managing some of the highest volume establishments in D/FW, including Billy Bob’s Texas, Twin Peaks, & Truck Yard. To this day, Tommy continues to work in the Restaurant & Bar Industry, stating that some of the best and most honest people he’s ever met, he has come across in this Industry. Due to this, Tommy offers discounts to all clients who have wage documents from the Service & Retail Industries on their quotes.

While managing these venues, Tommy was introduced to the world of tax preparation as a side hobby, deciding to make a full-fledged career change during the COVID Pandemic. In his first year, he won Rookie of the Year honors and was quickly promoted to begin Management Training. For a few more years, Tommy managed offices in Watauga, TX and Hurst, TX, winning awards for attendance & proficiency, and in 2023, took home Manager of the Year honors. Now that he has launched his own company, he’s dedicating his efforts to taking care of all his clients, year over year, and continuing education. He has plans to begin training soon to become an Enrolled Agent with the IRS.
